Aadhya weds Mahin

It began at a friend's birthday dinner in Indiranagar in the spring of 2021, seated opposite each other and arguing about whether filter coffee counts as coffee. Neither of them can tell you what anyone else at that table said. Three years later, on a terrace in Coorg, on the last morning of a trip they had very nearly cancelled, Mahin lost every word of what he had rehearsed — and Aadhya said yes before he reached the end of the first sentence.

This August both families finally met properly, in one room in Bengaluru, and discovered they had been going to the same Ganesh Chaturthi pandal for years without ever knowing it. The date was settled before the sweets came out.
